No way I would go again. With all the drs I've seen about my knee, not one suggested therapy. Time for a second opinion?I have PT tomorrow again... I'm not getting on that stationary bike again. When I went in last week, my pain level was about a 4. After my session, it's been back up to a 9 and I can hardly walk again. Today was about the worst. I cried today and I didn't even do that the day my knee snapped. It's also really swollen.
Ditto. Like i already said ditto in a different way.Have you let the Dr know what has happened? They are not mind readers. Somethings not right Blue and if he brushes you off about the pain and swelling then you need a second opinion
I've seen that done.Robert got Tom good once. He used at least one if not 2 rolls of invisible tape and taped his doorway opening all the way across and down. So when Tom came out of his bedroom he opened the wood door and walked smack into the tape! LOL I don't know where he gets his evilness from.![]()
No, this was last Friday. Today's Tuesday. I didn't realize I hurt right away. It kept getting worse until this morning actually. Today it's marginally better. I will tell the PT today that I'm not doing the bike again. We'll see what he says.Have you let the Dr know what has happened? They are not mind readers. A middle schooler thought it would be hilarious to prank me in the school parking lot - not April Fool's, just a random day. After I picked up my kid, and was driving slowly away, this bozo ran out, slammed into my car and fell down, writhing as though he was hurt. I'd seen him coming and hit my brake so I knew he wasn't hurt and I also knew this kid and his equally bozo father. So I stopped the car, jumped out and ran around to the front, screaming hysterically, oh my god, Jeffrey, are you okay, somebody call an ambulance, don't move, oh no, oh no! And more of the same, with anguish dripping out of my voice and all over my face. Made a huge scene, people flocking to the scene, etc. The kid with shamed face picked himself up, dusted himself off, apologized and slunk off like the idjit he was. His father grabbed him by the scruff and gave him a good shake and a ticking off, though I strongly suspect he'd put him up to it. I gave them both a good glare and drove off.I did an April Fools on a couple of one of my daughter's friends. It wasn't meant to be funny though. It's just that it fell on that day. Let's see if I can shorten it.
My daughter was late getting home from school. She finally walks in. Informs me that these guys dropped her off..up in the mouth of the canyon and left her to walk home!! I find out who, sister knows them. I get their number. I call and am seriously very upset wirh them, I lie, tell them that she isn't home yet. Where is she?! They tell me where they dropped her off. Still seething at the thought, I tell them that anything could have happened to her. They start sounding anxious. I told them to meet me up where they dropped her off, and that she better be on her way home along the way. I have my daughter in the back seat, who then moves to the floor as we approach the canyon. The boys are there looking around when we get there. I tell them I didn't see her walking home. I get out and start yelling..Melody! I honk the horn. I yell more, now the boys are wondering around and yelling her name out. I'm cussing them out asking what in the world were they thinking?! Not sure how long I let it go on until I finally had her sit up. They see her. They start cussing real cuss words. I yelled at them to stop it. I told them to think about it. What if this was real? They got quiet as I went on with different scenarios. Yeah, an April Fools day I am hoping they learned something from.
What in the world were they thinking? They weren't. High Schoolers.
I was exhausted! slept almost 14hours last night!I just looked over at Ma to ask her something and she is snoring away catching flies.
