Granny's gone and done it again

MC maybe you can ask the Dr. about cause? Keeping in mind my a1c was 5.5
Always a chance it could be related to your diabetes, he says even with a low A1C. He had seen it before in a young man with type1 diabetes. Get it checked out, okay?

Had a weird afternoon here. We have a pond on the southwest corner of our property. Neighbor called this afternoon and asked if we knew that there was a pick up truck crashed at the base of the levy that had gone through the fence and hit a tree. Uh huh no. News to us but then we hadn't been outside much the last few days. DH walked down the road and sure'nuff a nice diesel pick up truck had jumped the ditch, taken out a length of barbed wire fence and kissing one of our trees. It was empty thank God so he called 911 and they sent out a state trooper followed by 2 county mounties. The trucks owner showed up about the same time. He'd lost control of the truck dodging a deer. Hadn't had the truck for very long. Paid 30 grand for it:eek:Didn't have great insurance. Kid promised to fix the fence. He was just lucky he hadn't wound up in the pond.

Sure was. Young driver... nobody told him ... ALWAYS hit the deer! Even with good insurance, there's a difference between collision and comprehensive. If a deer hits you, it's a collision. If you hit a tree, it's comp. And insurance pays a lot less on comp, because then it's your fault. Hit the deer.
