Granny's gone and done it again

Yep that is similar to mine only larger. Last night was miserable. The pain med wasn't working, laxatives weren't working, shoulder was killing me, sling was uncomfortable. I started slinging pillows around the living room and finally got comfortable just letting the sling support my arm. Went back to tramadol with a Tylenol chaser and the pain eased off. Got comfortable in n
My rocking chair and dozed off....and then the laxatives kicked in. Forget the jackhammer Blue I needed a mop and shovel. I lost track of how many trips R2 Ice Cube and I made to the bathroom. got to sleep about one after a wrestling match with my sling that I won.

This is more or less what the sling looks like only it isn't showing the strap that goes around your waist.

Yeppers. My guy is the best. I am truly blessed.

I'm ready for breakfast. Bbl
I got a black ball. I never used it. Supposed to help keep your hands and arm strong while in the cast.
Sorry you were uncomfortable. :( Interesting that you were given Tramadol. That's what I told him I would try since he was persistent on pain relief when I had said no. I had done ok on that years ago. He says ok, but I'm writing you a prescription for Nucenta too just in case you decide you need it. That's a pretty strong one! He said, your shoulder was pretty messed up, I had to do a lot in there. I also had a long bone spur. I tried a half of the Tramadol..once. The ice thing worked well. :) And, sleeping in a recliner instead of the bed in the beginning.
When I finished therapy and the boss there told the others that I was done, they were all saying congratulations..and..did you see her X Ray's? She had a lot done.
Therapy Becky, you push as hard as they say..but no harder. They'll warn you about that. Time will pass and you'll be using that arm and shoulder again before you know it. It's been a good 10 years if not more since I've had mine done. The things they can do for us today!

Finally got my flooring ordered for the kitchen and if should be on it's way. Got the sub flooring from Amazon and then Lowes had the laminate on special. I want a light cooler so the kitchen isn't so dark. It's warm honey oak wood planks. The click and lock ones. So when DH comes home from the hospital I should have the kitchen looking better. I still have to fix the house to the washer.

We will be getting up at 5:00 tomorrow. I'm just so thankful they are making it possible to get the surgery done this week. He will be in the hospital a week for pain management. I feel comfortable he's in good hands
The flooring sounds beautiful. I will be praying for safe travels, manageable pain levels and a good outcome for the surgery.

I thought I as going to get lots of things done this morning so I could rest this afternoon. Didn't happen! Sat down in my comfy chair to check in here and check email next thing I know it's 11:45! So I have just finished my mornings tasks! I'm beat!
Glad you made it in here anyway! How's Larry?

Ah, you finally got some rain! What did you plant?
Petunias. A Begonia. A regular tomato plant and a cherry tomato plant. And a yellow squash.
The first are of the flowers. Thats a mini Lilac bush in the middle, and some Snap Dragons, the the Petunias and Begonia.
Then in the back, the vegetables.
My teeny tiny gardens.
Oh, I planted some Alysium under the tree.
