I wouldn't know on this one, but for knee transplants they said they do. So if you'll be up walking around on your first day back, won't you be able to take care of him? And if not, hospice?

I wont be able to do a lot of things he will need like bending over to help clean him up or help him get into a standing position.
This surgery is supposed to take 12 weeks to heal.I wont be allowed to lift even a gal.of milk . No driving ect...

yes, We need to leave here at 4am.!! be there at 6 and surgery at 8. surgery itself is a little over 3 hrs.

After these 3-12 hr. days Tom will be out of time for home aid. For a month I think..

It will be detrimental to his mental health. Last time he was in he begged me more than once to bring him poison.
