Granny's gone and done it again

Baby Turtle

A baby turtle was standing at the bottom of a large tree and with a deep sigh, started to climb. About an hour later, he reached a very high branch and walked along to the end. He turned and spread all four flippers and launched himself off the branch. On landing at the bottom in a pile of soft, dead leaves, he shook himself off, walked back to the bottom of the tree and with a sigh started to climb.

About an hour later, he again reached the very high branch, walked along, turned, spread his flippers and flung himself off the branch. Again, he landed on the bottom, shook himself off, went to the bottom of the tree, sighed and started climbing.

Watching these proceedings from the end of the branch were two birds. The Momma bird turned to Daddy bird and said, "Don't you think it's time we told him he was adopted?"

hey Dana. How have you been? I haven't talked to you in a long time.

worse then I thought. Was sitting on the throne thinking, If I had neighbor like you I wouldnt need chickens . All the work would be gone and I would just pull my chair up to yours. LOL
granny that sounds like a plan. Maybe we could just move down to Louisiana and have the benefits of messing with the chickens and not have to worry about feeding and watering them

I read on FB that somewhere ? England maybe, that if models show their ribs they wont allow it . They are trying to do away with the "perfect body" image. I have been thinking about sending them some pictures, see if I could get a job. Cause everything on FB is true right ?
:lau of course everything on Facebook is Real and True.

Hi guys! Well I caved and ran to Tsc to pick up a cheap chicken coop. The baby chicks in the garage are starting to act like ducks! :barnie I can't take it anymore. Bad enough that I change their water 4x a day because of sheddings, now they are knocking them over and flooding the brooders.

Also they had egg flats for 99 cents for a 12 pack.
switch to nipple waterers!

Okay, so my mood is leading me into the danger zone.

TSC We love it. We hate it. In general, customer service stinks.
No one likes their ignorance and seeming lack of feeling for chicks and ducklings.
I have 4 stores "near" me. Closest 11 miles, furthest 16 miles. For some reason, the furthest is least expensive and staff is most agreeable. Sometimes they run out of what I need. Soooo......

I went to the closest for the second time Monday after swearing off on them 3 years ago. them "Did you find everything OK?"
me "Yes, but it wasn't OK. Would have bought more but all the other bags had holes chewed in them and plenty of mouse poop on shelves."
them "Will there be anything else?"
me "I'd Like to make sure the manager knows there is a rodent problem."
them "Oh, I'm sure he knows."

There are plenty more stories that I just swallow.

I'm now looking into switching to smaller local stores that sell locally grown and milled feeds. I'm going to ask on Texas thread for personal results with Bryant feed.
I stopped at one on the way home - 4 miles from home - and they were very nice. Opened a bag of a new product - 9grain scratch with oregano and garlic - which they had just rec'd that morning. Just to show it to me. Would TSC have done that?

I don't know. I've had a bad week. If someone's nice to me, well, I like that.
I'm interested in this feed...I like the sound of it.
