Granny's gone and done it again

Good afternoon all.
Wow, looks like we're going to get rain/snow slush off and on through the week. You know what we like, snow on those mountains. We can be getting the rain in the valley but snow up there. We'll take it.
sounds beautiful, we get the rain, and more rain, and thunderstorms, no snow, no snow capped mountains, but we're grateful just the same.

It's 4 pm and the sun sets about 5. Before I go, here is my focaccio, it is a savory bread. Mine has red onions and a little garlic on top, with a touch of rosemary and tarragon. Have not tried it yet but it smells lovely!

looks very appetizing, is it like pizza where you can add toppings? or is it eaten to accompany a meal? Id' have both ways....I luv bread...lol

Whoa! It is 75°F here right now and I am not liking it one bit! I feel as if I cannot breathe, it feels too hot for me! Almost I could wish for a dusting of snow. C'mon, it's the middle of November!
I saw snow in the extended forecast Blue, rain mixed with snow and light snow up here the day after Thanksgiving. Be careful what you wish on us, girl! Old Farmer's Almanac says this is supposed to be a wet/snowy, cold winter for us in Missouri.

So good to hear from you, Granny and we all know how hard it is right now to be 'social'. But glad to hear that you and Robert are holding up.

Rest assured that Tom made his journey when he wanted to. He didn't want you with him or his son so that you would have that memory for the rest of your lives. I've seen it happen way too often in my work not to know that people can and do, do that. My own mother did that for me.

Yes, please call the local department of aging and find out what help you can get and please please please take anything you can get. You and Tom paid into that your whole working lives. Now it's your turn to get the help you need. And yes, the funeral home and the cemetery if you do an interment will let you make reasonable payments. Even if you pay 10 dollars a month, you are paying.

Let us know how things are going. We understand if you we don't hear from you for a day or two.:hugs

And remember to EAT!
Oh Granny, judging by Micros's message, a loved one has passed on, I know I am not family, I am a total stranger many miles away, however my heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. losing a close loved one is painful, God Bless!
