Granny's gone and done it again

How's Larry doing Iris?
Sounds like you're doing ok as can be expected. 🙂
You two are good at keeping busy.
He is still having a lot of back and hip pain. He is having trouble walking and is really frustrated that he can't get as much done as he needs to. Thanks for asking. How are you?

That is just plain awesome. I'm glad you have something to help you relax..a bit.
that pill knocked me on my butt.
Good Morning GrannyH, just stepped in to check in...hope all is well with you and the homestead, my household is busy making preparations for thanksgiving dinner...this year our families will get together at my eldest daughters home, she lives in the next county over...hows the weather been up your way? its been very nice here this week, my hens seem to be returning from their extended vacations, egg production is picking up, and nice eggs at that! have a great afternoon, and even greater weekend!

found this and wanted to bring it home to you folks:

Even with everything that this year has piled onto our lives, there is still so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We’d even argue one silver lining during this challenging year was a new perspective on the things we’ve been taking for granted all this time! This new perspective has highlighted how grateful we are for the simplest of things. And while many are still struggling this Thanksgiving, we hope we are able to take a moment and practice some gratitude for all the lessons 2025 has brought.

  • "The Lord bless you and keep you and your families; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace" (Numbers 6:24-26).
That was a nice post

Turds, it looks like turds. Can he have pudding, apple sauce, boost?
The Dr just changed his diet so he eats solids before going home and they brought spicy rice. They are going to replace it with a tuna salad sandwich, sherbet and chocolate milk. I bring ensure along from home and he's been eating pudding and applesauce.
The GI said his esophagus is severe. He has a fungus in it. They can't put a peg tube in until the esophagus heals. I'm assuming the IV chemo will probably have to wait to. They aren't sure till the biopsies come back whether the Crohn's is active or whether it's being caused by the chemo
