Aww I hate how people twist what the word of God says!! Men aren't to be treating women like just some car they own or something..!!

• Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
• Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

The whole twist of obey really bothers me. I've heard my dad use that against my mom and twist the word of God.

We had obey in our ceremony. Got a big kick out of it when DH wagged his finger at me laughed and said 'remember you promised'.

As my sister is fond of saying ... "The husband is the head of the household, but the wife is the neck." Without the neck, that head has a very limited perspective and almost no mobility. It takes teamwork!

If they just took it to the ground I believe they will come back. Its too early yet. Because they disturbed the roots that part will repair itself first. Wait a couple weeks maybe.

It was already coming up real good.

If you put a screen of hardware cloth mounted on 1x or 2x boards over it, the plants will grow up through it, but your chickens can't get to the roots. Once the plants are established, you'll never see the screen!

That's a good idea! Thanks. It had been growing there for at least 5 years and I never had a chicken show any interest in it until this one pullet. It s pretty well fenced but obviously not impervious. She got in, laid a few eggs in it snd then decided it was her own personal salad buffet.

Yup, men forget the cherish part. If he's submitted to God and willing to die for her, he's not going to be wagging his finger in her face and yelling, "Submit!" He won't have to.

Ok, so not a very religious household here but I truly believe in a shared relationship. There is no "head" We are equal . I have been the boss of myself my whole life. The men in my life took no responsibility for me and didn't want it for themselves either. Mamas boys. I didn't like that and tried to change them to make their own decisions but as you know, Changing people really isn't a thing.
