boy that post will mess with you if you don't read the quote lolI was give a baby at school and brought it home put it in a fish tank. It died. My mom put up with a lot from me. hahaa
But , but, it was still driveable ! hahaa You got that sitting in your garage ? wow. I want a new van so badly !Haha! My brother borrowed the little car for awhile (his car had blown up) and had to put a new battery in it. Hubs took that new battery and switched out the one in his car on Friday night! hahaha! Reasons for turning it in: the alternator is going out (again!), leaky head gasket, heat doesn't work, defroster fans don't work, plastic bits are deteriorating, slow unknown oil leak, paint about gone, door lock fussy, back window bracket won't stay closed, need the room for other cars, we haven't used it much in the last 3 years but still pay insurance, registration, and smog testing, AND they gave me way more money than it was worth. But I will miss it. Manual transmission, no power anything, no ac. I'm too old for no ac. Also, no airbags, so insurance for one of the boys to drive it is actually higher than for a newer car.
Oh, and the car had to be in legal drive-able condition for them to accept it. We did take the jack and the floor mats when I found out they were just trashing the whole thing, but the deal would be off if we took the battery or wheels.
Oh, but was it baby blue? I wanted a baby blue one.
We currently have a '69 Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider taking up my garage! sigh It has been rebuilt and hubs painted it years ago (like over 20 yrs ago!), but it only sees the sun every 4 yrs or so. Looks like this.

hahahaaa I poked it with a stick to make sure it wasnt "playing possum". He wanted to pick it up with my shovel. No way that thing was fitting on the shovel so I told him to grab the tail. He is a city boy. I said go throw it in the woods . He said Throw it ?? I can barely lift it !
hahaaboy that post will mess with you if you don't read the quote lol
I didnt stick around. I hope whatever eats it dont get sick. I would of buried it if I could. That's why you have to swing it by the tail!![]()
