Mom and I used to make blackberry and apply jelly, she did the blackberry and I did the apple. She liked to freeze apples and I would take the skins and cores for the jelly. In the winter she would roll out canned biscuits and make fried apples then put them in the biscuit and fry them and I would make icing for the top. Of couse that was the left over fried apples from breakfast with gravy and biscuits.
