Changing the subject, Banty, I have seen a couple posts of chicks being born with lumps/ growths. Have you noticed that ?

Nope. In my birds, or in general?

I haven't had any malformed birds yet, thank goodness.

Are you sure it's an actual growth they're talking about? Some times I see newbies mistake a vaulted skull for a malformation.

oh no, not your birds. I seen one here chick with lump under its beak. Someone said it looks like a hawk because of its beak and one on FB just today.

Done for the day. Much better spirits. The boy ate a taco at supper! The returning camper has had hot dogs at every meal. He told his counselor to not even bring a hot dog without ketchup, even though he put his own ketchup on the first day.
