No more dead chickens, either, which is encouraging. Yesterday there were two weak ones that were pushed over and didn't try to stand. I was trying to scoot them gently with a rake, but they found their feet and got up! So now I'm checking the water several times a day and filling it if it gets below a half. I never found it totally empty, but I can't think of why else they wouldn't be getting the meds. Also bought more juice so I can make another waterer.

Casportpony says if the occi is bad to give them a drop of the meds directly to the beak besides in the water. You wont OD them .

Done for the day. Much better spirits. The boy ate a taco at supper! The returning camper has had hot dogs at every meal. He told his counselor to not even bring a hot dog without ketchup, even though he put his own ketchup on the first day.

My pear trees wont bloom. I have 3 . 2 of them being over 5 yrs. One is fairly new. 2 different varietys .Bought at the same time /size as apples and am getting apples for 2 yrs.

I bought 4 humongous T bone steaks for $16.00. they were $4.99 a lb. I bought ready made potato salad and bushes baked beans . 2 lbs. of strawberries, cool whip and an angel food cake. It was the best meal i have had in ages. and leftovers for tomorrow ! Maybe..
