SOO, First thing that bugs me is they dont intend to show respect to you by calling you Scott. That was enough right there to know the rest of it would be bull.
That didn't bother me as we (western nodaks) tend to be informal.

I've done about everything that I wanted to do in life except move north where it's cooler. Now I haven't done much but I'm happy with a normal simple life.Red, at least your living life . I imagine one beer for me now would knock me out.
I don't blame you one bit if they can't guarantee that. Idiots that think that you are to dumb to know any better.here is the written correspondence so far. I just got off the phone with the bassturds in Bismarck boiled down to Tuff nuts it's state law now. AND then have no idea how much the penalities will be if I refuse.
Scott:
I would urge you to contact Job Service Headquarters in Bismarck directly. These are some of the concerns we had when it was going through the legislative process. They stated at the time they would work with each employer to make it work for them. I would not want individual information on a site that is not protected either. If you need further assistance, please call me at xxx-xxxx any time.
Mike

Subject: HB 1296 WHY ????????????
CAUTION: This email originated from an outside source. Do not click links or open attachments unless you know they are safe.
Dear Sirs:
I am writing in response to HB 1296 making it state law to electronically file all information concerning Job Service, This includes Social Security numbers and Full names of employee's. BUT you are NOT willing to assume FULL responsibility for said information should the site be hacked. Neither my employee's or myself are comfortable putting their social security number's out into cyber space. What other options if any do I have ??? I haven't even registered thru UI jobsnd.com because in order to do so I have to accept and agree to the web sites Unwillingness to guarantee or take responsibility for the web site.
Sincerely,
Scott Martin, Business owner

I guess I am lucky in that respect. No one wants to be me ! LOLAnd honestly there truly is NO safe web site, any and all can be hacked. I mean look at how many federal sites have been hacked. And what better thing to hack then a website that collects Full Names social security number AND how much the individual makes every quarter. Identy theft peoples wet dreams.
Sometimes it's healthy to cry. And I know that anyone that has gone through something like you have would cry too. That a given. But I also understand that you'd rather just not talk about it. And you don't have too. Now lets see if we can help get your mind off of it. Whatcha got in store for today?Red, that happened in 2001 & 15&1/2 years later i can't talk about it without crying.
