upper 60's again today and for the next few days. Which will make hanging any deer we get problematic as you want to hand them and let the blood drain BUT you don't want warm weather

Warm here too -- pushing 70 last I looked. Supposed to drop 10 degrees and rain tomorrow so

CBs glasses are not to be found here. We have looked for 3 days now. No replacements for a yr

That's not good -- surely they will turn up, probably in the weirdest place, hope that happens soon!

Today is the day - off to the DMV to (hopefully) get my Oregon license --- went the other day and ended up giving up and walking out totally disgusted. I was there for over an hour and never even got my number called (in Indiana we would get calls from the head office if they saw our wait times go over 20 minutes!) *and* the one lady that was there was super rude and nasty with people that she did bother to help -- I took it all a little too personally I think because of having done that exact job and knowing that it CAN be done pleasantly and efficiently and seeing the way none of the people working there that day gave a fig about doing a good job ticked me off. Figure if I go early and take a good book I might not notice how badly they are dicking people around or how long it takes to even get called to the counter. Have to do the written test, I really better be able to pass that, lol.

I guess I was lucky by the time I had glasses my eyes were so bad that being without wasn't really an option...never lost a pair.

Have dd search and check with the school. Perhaps they showed up in the lost and found.

Sooo. Home inspection report came in. They jinkied the heck out of the roof. Sigh. That is a definite they need to fix. There's also "slow drains" (hmm may need sceptic pumped or something went sideways when they did their repairs?)

There's also a few other things...joys of a flip house. There will be half-donkey fixes aplenty.

Camping, im making the quilt 30x48". I made gds 24x48" & i made it to fit flat in a baby bed. It could have been a few inches wider. I also made her bumper pads. They had owls apliqued on them.
