um sure I guess what I was getting at was some appeared in pics to be clean legged and some feathered maybe I am off

They are all feathered to some degree, because of the cochin hen. Some are more than others, but it's random.

so you would have of option of breed for or against in perfecting your breed.

Possibly. I'd have to get LOTS more splash cochins to make a whole breed with enough genetic diversity.

What color is the female cochin? splash? I only know with black sexlinks, you need a barred female and a solid, usually red, rooster. Only male offspring are barred, female chicks are black. Not sure how it would work with your combo.
