I agree with that Banty. How much does it cost in food alone to raise them to POL not counting labor? Mine really go through the food. even $25. is less then what we have in them.

I meant to ask, do you think they were fighting each other ?well Beth's muzzle looks better this am . Think I will wait until Friday before possibly making an appointment at the vets.![]()
No way. I buy the cheapest stuff I can find and it's still over $10. If I fed them all flock, it would be about 16-18 a bag. I can't afford that.wow. Is feed cheap? 10 month pullet here is $20 for common breeds.
$10 here. price of food is the same everywhere I think.wow. Is feed cheap? 10 month pullet here is $20 for common breeds.
I don't know, and I don't want to, or I might downsize. 45 birds go through about 75 lbs of food per week, and most of them aren't full grown yet.I agree with that Banty. Good evening to you, Benny... unless you are vacationing in California!Have you ever been here?

I feed my birds layer after they're feathered out. I know, I know, you're not supposed to---but I don't have sudden deaths in my birds so I don't care what they say about it.since I stopped the corn the flock raiser is really breaking me. 7 bags this month I cant keep doing that. If I didnt have babies I would switch to layer.
