Granny's gone and done it again

I have had sleep study before and was borderline. It will be done at hospital. all the stickys that will fit on my head. Its not too bad. Lady let me have a smoke in the bathroom so I was able to go to sleep after that. The other blockages they hope to fix the 90% with meds (Imdur) and cholesterol . The 50% is in a stent and not enough blockage to fix it yet.
Well, hopefully that will help you out then, with the new medications. I hate it when you have no say in when they will fix something! What about quality of life? So your heart gets 50% of the oxygen it should have and they are just going to wait despite your heart muscle damage. You are going to be tired a lot i am thinking.

I guess the biggest question/worry I have now is my chickens and this winter. I am dragging myself out to feed and water now. I cant imagine doing it after the snow flies. Would it be just as easy to water 20 as it would 2 ? Do I cut back or shut down?
I would say because you enjoy them and it gets you outside, just keep them until you feel like you just can't do it any more. There is no telling how you will feel by the time winter gets here. You can also do your chicken chores in parts. Like, in the morning you get eggs and feed them. At night you refill their water etc. Or have a chair out there. Do one task, then sit and watch, relax. When you feel rested, do another task. It will at least get you out of the house. Spend more time enjoying your chickens while you have them. Just suggestions. I hope you will start feeling better soon. I understand there is a lot of pressure on you to change. Change is hard. I get it. Your decision. I know i am a lot more active since we moved here. I feel better because of it too. I think it would be a mistake to get rid of the chickens, even if you need to get someone to help you.

Maybe the snow won't be bad? Wasn't much last year. Do you use rubber pans for water in the winter? Easy to flip the ice cube out and refill.

I agree! This would be a good plan! Small steps granny.

That's a tough one. Getting water out to them in winter was hard even without the HA. If you could figure out an easier watering system, then I bet you could manage, especially if you were down to just one pen... maybe 2. And they would be good motivation to get you off your duff! :D The Orps will handle the cold no problem. Not sure about your littles, although you've had some of those seramas for a long time. Maybe the smooth feathers ones can keep warmer. Maybe you can broker a deal with Robert for help. Tell him you will leave the house to him one day if he helps, but if he doesn't, you will leave it all to the Help Homeless Chickens Society. (And here's where I need that flappy hen smiliey)

I couldn't remember just who but you and Wishing were the names that are prominent in my memory of that night LOL
I was against calling, but didn't want to say too much in case granny though I was heartless. :)
Sweet dreams, Papa!
