Chickens didn't get any feed yesterday so those okra pods got eaten. I spent most of the day in bed with bad hip pain. Waiting for new insurance cards to come in n the mail to go to the Dr.

One more roof panel and i can start the walls. Husband helped the whole time. That skylight weighs about 40 pounds or more. It was a chore getting it up there. I am going to be sorry tonight.
And, i did manage to catch the guinea that got loose! It sure yelled when i grabbed it!

great news about the guinea ! I thought it would be bait for sure. LOL
When I was building my coop and run I put chicken wire floors in. I know that was a waste now. Im sure it is all rusted away down there. Especially since I did the deep litter. Wooden floor in the coop itself was also a waste IMO . I dont think it will last very long as its barely off the ground and never painted . Its treated wood but there is just enough room between the floor and dirt for mice to live happily ever after.

Im going to put the light back in my coop before the eclipse. We are going to be 95% here. One pen won't have any light--10 chickens & a duck that I will be watching their reactions.

I dont know what will happen here I havent checked but I wont do anything. Not even glasses to watch it. LOL I would get Robert some if he was interested but I dont think he is. Shoot, I might have a drs. appt. that day. LOL

We got up and drove to church in Crowley. It's a non-denominational church with three or so campuses. This one doesn't have a church building so they rent the town theater. Today they did a bunch of baptisms, and it was gorgeous. I sobbed the entire time even though I only knew one person. The message was on depression, excellent. Very real and sincere. And they live stream! I grabbed a picture offline of the front of the theater.
