grocery store has 10lb flats of tomatoes local grown for $4.00

Wow, that's a great price, sure wish I had some here like that.

I got some that look like h3ll, going to try to can chicken broth from a bunch of roo's & old hens. Never have done that before so we will see how it goes.

Twist does, you might ask him. Might as well make bone broth. I believe in its healing .

Feels like my whole world is upside down. Pain is bad tonight. I keep forgetting or dont seem to have time to take my pills.. If Tom didnt bring me my regular meds I would forget them too. I have been telling the boys one rule then switching it to another. They get confused . Everything they were allowed to do at home and have been doing for yrs. they cant do here. I feel sorry for them.

Don't feel sorry for them. They need to learn. It will be more painful later on.

Hugs, you are doing the best you can. This is temporary. You can do it. Kids are great at adapting to change. Just do one day at a time.

Round here you pay 4.00 for a couple lbs. of local tomatoes. Last summer we were getting 4.00 for a qrt of smaller sized tomatoes. Yes we did good lol. Can't get enough to ripen with this cooler weather that I won't allow hubs to sell any because I need them for us.

I was behind line this man was buying only God knows how many fat steaks, I said, I going home with you. LOL He said ok, but these steaks aint going home they are going to my bar. I bet he had over 50 . Should of knocked him and run. hahaa

I think that is how most parents feel.. you are doing a lot esp after just having a heart attack. They will never forget what you are doing for them.

And they don't taste like anything. Wish you felt good enough to do it too. I've got one qrt left from last year. I have gotten 35 pints of salsa made. 15 of those are hubs & they are way too hot for me. The batch I just did day before yesterday I got 22 pints. Still a little hotter than I like. Must be my jalapeño peppers were hotter this year. Plants are huge, they are in the green house.
