Pfft, no. Like 10 minutes twice a day. I even offered just once a day. Anyway, Mollie will do it. I'm paying her the $50 and letting her keep any eggs she finds. I've got one hona pullet laying every couple of days.

Yeah 10 minutes a day Is nothing. Do you lock up your birds at night? Or do you have an automatic door?

We're taking Jewel with us and leaving Jasper with the friends who dogsat Ben for us last year. I usually lock the pop doors at night, but I haven't see signs of predators in a long time so I'm willing to leave the pop doors open as long as the gate to the pen is closed. The honas will be locked in the coop/run. They're going to hate it, and it will be a little crowded, but it's less than two weeks. They'll survive.
