There was no way I could have raised the first 20 to slaughter age. My neighbors would have run me out of town. I tried giving them away, but nobody wants roo's. It was bad enough with waiting with the 16 to butcher, but that was out of necessity, they weren't auto sexing breeds like the first 20 had been. So I had to wait to be sure they weren't hens. Still missed 3 when we slaughtered, was on the fence with them. Suspected roo's, but wasn't 100% sure. So they received a stay of execution for the time being lol.

my hands wont let me do too many. One an hr. terrible.
I think feeding to snake is not cool. It would take much longer to die and Enola fed frozen mice for sure, dont know about chicks. It dont matter how the head comes off as long as its a clean cut and fast.
