Noooo, she just started laying last month and I don’t want anything chicks

I feel your pain. Half my layers were broody all spring and summer. Year old hatchery blue Wyandotte is back setting for the third time this season. Not missing much from her... eggs are bantam cochin sized.

I do. Camping picture made me hungry for eggs.
I had my first duck egg. I really couldn't tell the difference. MY friend has ducks. I refuse to get them til I have a pond and a broody to take care of them.
My bacon , eggs, and fried onions were yummy!

My son and husband went to the races this morning. Charity event, racing vintage cars and I think most of the drivers are vintage as well.

Anyway, I was looking up photos from previous years events, and now the ads here on byc are all car ads! Amazing how fast it works.

Heard a man talking about all this in regards to tech companies, like google and fb, having too much control over our lives and maybe need reining in. At first the libertarian in me thought, leave those companies alone! Then he said something that stuck with me. He said to remember, when you are using anything for "free" on the net, YOU are the product being sold by the site you are using. I always understood that at some level, but put into those words, it really makes you think.

Keep treating it. You have to get all the pus out before it can heal properly. Only thing I worry about is spreading it around, but if it was going to spread, it probably already has.

Granny, Kathy has always been adamant that antibiotics won't work if there is still pus present. You have to remove every piece of it. Trying a q-tip coated in anti-biotic ointment.
