Making homemade tomato soup & grilled cheese for supper. Easy since I am so tired from grocery shopping. Still need to pick up eggs & put goat in the pen. My back is throbbing.

Can you adopt an evacuated hen?
Animal Place had evacuate our adoption facility in Vacaville yesterday due to the Atlas Fire. We evacuated over 1000 rescued hens. They are safe at our Grass Valley location, but we are not set up to take care of this many animals here. We have limited space and staff. We need to find homes for these hens ASAP!
In the hopes of adopting out a large number of birds in the next few days, we have lowered our adoption fee. Just $5 per hen.
We are open for adoptions at our Grass Valley Shelter every day this week. If you can adopt, please let me know what day you can make it and I will get you all of the necessary details.
Once again this is a plea for help! We need to find a large number of these birds homes in the next few days!
