Granny's gone and done it again

Husband dug up a strawberry bush today, did not leave a bit of soil on the roots! So i had to quickly decide where to put it and dig the hole immediately or it would have been dead! Why he needs to clear out that area now is beyond me. We need to clear brush down to the new hoop coop site and here he is digging up bushes! He is not supposed to dig because he has sponge kidneys and every time he digs dirt he pees blood! Ugh.
Any way, i put up three more tarps on the bird runs so when the wind blows they don't get chilled. One more to put up and i will have to get more. Sure love the camo color, the blue just looks trashy next to the camo that blends in.

Broody? No egg today from her. I can pick her up off the nest and sit her down and she does this. Usually she will jump up and run if I make a move towards her. She’s not exactly the friendliest bird.

I’m just wondering who else is going to go broody. I’ve got molting chicken laying eggs and 5-6month old pullets broody.

I have no birds at all laying eggs, but i am thinking come Easter i will have loads!
What is everyone up to tonight? I managed to wash dishes today while the water heated for my tea! Electric stoves are so slow! I really love propane but have not managed to talk DH into it yet.
Laying in bed with drops in my ear, i have so much fun! Just got back from poking the fires on the other side of the chicken coop. It is cooling off fast. I worked all day comfortably wearing shorts and a tshirt, but i will definitely wear more clothes when i go out to check the fires later. It is supposed to go down to 39 tonight! Brrr!
I still have some work i want to do on my coop, install more perches inside and open up more ventilation over top of the door.
Don't know if i have the energy to go out and work on the cat scratch tower tonight. I really do want to finish it. 2 more shelves should not take all that long. Maybe after i have some tea.

With Propane you can cook even when the power is out. !!!!!!!!! OR keep one room of the house sort of warm.
