Last spring when I sold tons of chicks & delivered to a meeting area for most. I used a cardboard box with a rice pak with a puppy pad over it. I closed the flaps & had air holes towards the top edge of the box.

Leave them in the car unless someone comes to you interested. If the heat pak gets cool sit the box on the floor of the car & run your heater for a few minutes with it being set to foot level.

Draw up a pretty advertising sign for them. That way you only bring out the box of chicks when someone is truly interested or if Momma is still with them bring her to do it for you.
