Granny's gone and done it again

I really do like a traditional turkey meal.  I just hate having to clean the house and worry if everyone is comfortable and having to get all the food done on time.  My kitchen is not big, so it's always a challenge to squeeze it all in. Hubs is wonderful, he always helps.  And the leftovers!  Half day of cooking gets meals for a few days, so I consider it an investment.  :)    The only benefit to a bad back is being excused from all that, but given the choice, I'd rather cook and not be in pain.  Usually the cooking is what causes the back pain.  Arms held out in front doing dishes and cooking is the problem.  I'm good for about 30 mins at a time, and have to go lie on the floor when the spasms start.

That is no fun. Anyway to fix the problem?

Dark clouds when i woke up at 6:30. No rain. Now sky is blue & wind is blowing.
It's been raining all night. We've got about an inch so far.

Patsy Cline is my fav.
Wishing, sounds like exactly what sets off my back problem. Thats why i said i must have a dishwasher NOW.
Sucks huh? That's my upper back problem. Lower back is from lifting heavy things, and what puts me on rest for days at a time.

Morning granny. Steady rain and I haven't been out to check on birds. Layers got new feed last night, so they are probably being stubborn about eating it. Keeping them locked up for another hour so they will eat. (Really, it's not because it's cold and raining and I'm still in me jammies!) Hopefully the garage serama are holding their own with the rest of the flock. I'll go up later and spread some treats around to make everybody happy. Got to make sure they are eating.
