Granny's gone and done it again

He should settle after he gets "broken" But I never seen frosty do that. Tom said they were both juping on her and biting but play stuff. Just to strong for her.

I guess I did. he is getting so big and Tom just caught him and frosty doubling up on star. She is curled up with me now. Poor thing.

He is just adorable!!!

One of my favorite songs. (wait for the chorus!)
LOVE this song too, Wishing!

16th I think so nervous about finding it

You're going through the prison transport program, right? It's not that hard to find - except you are doing it in the dark and, if you're like me, you'll be doing it in the middle of a snow storm too.......that added to the adventure. I can give you some directions, but it'd probably be easier to just call the coordinator (Jessica Bradley) - I can get you her number - she's likely to give better directions because it's been a minute since I had to find it and there are several little side/back roads on the grounds.

I don't know from normal. Everyone always tells to get a 14 pounder. Oh that would be the perfect size for our group, blah blah blah, but there are never any 14s, so I either have to go big or go small. Got 18 lbs one year, wasn't sure it would fit in the oven. I know people say they raise their own and get a 30-40lb dressed bird. Way too much turkey for me.

The bigger the better to me - more lelftovers to be had! I snagged a lovely 22 pound bird on Thursday, it's in the fridge thawing now since we are having dinner on Tuesday instead of on Thanksgiving day.

I usually have help when the dishes part comes. Of course all the prep and pre-meal dishes are already done. I also have a 1 person kitchen. can reach stove top /oven and fridge just by turning around.

Ah, yes, the small kitchen -- that is what I have had to adjust to with this move -- went from a big kitchen with an island and tons of counter space to a tiny little thing with not much in the way of prep space -- does make it easier for going from sink to stove to fridge, etc, though.
most of the prep I do the night before as I need the morning of the day of to do the pies and get Boyd ready and the dressing. And you have to do the jello salad the night before . Orange jello, pineapple, celery, carrots and pecans. I like it with miracle whip topping that has been thinned down with milk or cream.

Love the cooking part hate the house cleaning BUT Vickie is coming in Tuesday to help with the house cleaning.

Miracle Whip or Cool Whip????

I'm a prepper-aheader too -- pie gets done the day before, pink fluff (cherry jello whipped with cool whip - no room for nuts and fruit, lol), even mashed potatoes can be done ahead if need be, done right they are just as good warmed over, done wrong they get wonky.
