Granny's gone and done it again

Didn't they pop whilst driving home? That's a LOT of turkey. I think when it was Thanksgiving here I had a 23 lb turkey, 8 people, and most of it got put into the stock pot or bagged for sandwiches.

plus all of the sides, Started with 15 to 20 lb of mashed taters. about 12 cups left over, 7 loaves of bread turned into dressing about 12 ish cups left over. and then squash, broccoli, jello salad with carrots, celery, pineapple, and pecans in it. MY favorite so NO such thins as left over there. All kinds of pickles and such.

LOL big eaters in this area and I intentionally (try to) make extra for the leftovers, Dressing gets packaged and froze and then can pull out when ever I crave it or do a chicken. I love mashed taters and comes in hands to thicken soups, just freeze then thaw and squeeze out some of the excess liquid.
