Granny's gone and done it again

well we had to get the darn halter off and neither of us know how to "bulldog a steer/calf" had to wait for Rod to get back and even then was about all the 3 of us could handle. until wagoner "clamed" down.

Why would you halter him knowing it will have to be changed often ? They have a ton of growing to do.
What do you think he weighs ?

I don't know what happened while I was away but I never said anything. I have the up most respect for you. I'm not sure what to say....

I tend to have issues with autocrats and random "rules" from above.
You and me both!

I just put PB in the pups kong. That shut him up. hahahaa

LOL - always does the trick!
OH my oldest youngest EE pullet (only ee survivor of the cinnamon queens) just started laying the prettiest darkish sky blue egg the dels have been laying for a couple weeks

Congrats on the pretty eggs!
they are still peewees aka "diet" eggs but love the color so far They have until next spring to "prove" themselves The newest batch are already good sized.
Had to smile when I got my most recent batch of farm eggs -- apparently all new layers because I got cartons full of the most adorable little eggs! The lady was busy trying to apologize and explain the small eggs and I just smiled and said, "Oh, pullet eggs are my favorite!"

Did I get the biggest mouth award?

Poor babies want their mamas. Enola might be your best breeder ! Im glad you found a girl in there.

we are getting 4 tons of gravel today and DH back is out he was up all night..May have to hire help.the gravel is for my back yard where the chickens run around all day..

Yikes -- that's a whole lot of gravel to try to move without some help -- anyone you know have a bob cat -- super easy to fit in small spaces and can do the work in no time.
