Not much bigger than my old house in Alberta...but st least it's got land...

One less bedroom than I aspired for but...hey. Two bathrooms. That's a win right there.

I love the subway tiles and the open concept living space!!!! The one acre looks good too. You can do a lot on that land. But 2 bedrooms... I don't know. That is something you need to figure if you can live with....

That's the thing. I mean. If we start a family..let's face it I'm not getting any younger...by the time we're settled and all that...there won't be time for anything but an only child. The reason I want a three bedroom is so that even if we have a kidlet, I still have a room as a guest room/study.

Hubs is all for a smaller house though.

But...sigh. I'm starting to have reservations about having a kidlet. I mean as is I just don't have the energy/ambition to keep up with our friend's almost four year old.

(Or maybe that's cause they just drop her on me and I don't get much quality adult time with them...)

I also would have next to no familial support. I mean, my parents but they're up in Ottawa. All my family and good friends are all up in Canada. Hubs' mom lives maybe a mile from us, but never see/hear from her (which is better on hubs' mental health - she's kinda crazy and will berate him constantly)

I dunno. I'm going through a phase of the hard time for no blooming reason...

Oh, that's a tough one. No amount of wisdom could help you with that question. You aren't too old to have babies... And honestly other people's kids just aren't the same... The love is different... If you do have a child, you just find ways to make do and they don't live with you forever... If you feel it's not for you, I completely understand. That's truly a personal decision. Maybe keep looking since this house is causing you stress already.
