Granny's gone and done it again

I have been looking at muscovies for 2 yrs now.  If when I get ducks, I am torn between muscovy (very quiet, fly eaters, good mommies, loads of colors) and Welsh Harlequin (calm, great layers, fairly quiet, pretty, 90% sexable before 3 days by bill color).  Wonder if they would get along in a mixed flock.

I've got both (1 muscovy and a bunch of Welshies). My muscovy has the biggest attitude, but I love her for it. The Welshies are not tame. MUCH more skittish, but they do lay fairly often. They don't lay nearly as well as chickens. And, most lines are not beak sexable anymore.

The muscovy are kinda brats and boss and around the entire flock, including my turkeys, but not nearly as messy and don't really need water, but their feathers are much nicer with it and they still need to be able to dip their beaks.

Welshies do ok in a mixed flock, they don't tend to boss everyone around or anything and just sort of exist lol
