Hey mare! He didn't leave the feed open, but when he opened the lid he wasn't strong enough to keep them both out. He didn't know to leave the gate closed while the feed is open, but he does now.

LOL - I can only imagine, my sister's goats are absolute little devils when it comes to trying to get into things -- they are especially fond of trying to bum rush you to get into the chicken run to get at that feed and are SO fast and stubborn.

Did see a lot of wildlife. 2 herds of Antelope of over 12 each, a coyote, bunch of pheasants, huns, and sharp-tailed grouse, total of 6 does and 2 bucks, The yaks twice. First time they were NOT locked in the tit area stopped and raised a little h3ll and then came around again about 12:30 and they were in the tit BUT the gate was NOT closed.

So I closed it.

Sort of. But also not. DH spent out first three years here buying corn and watching the feeder. Most of it went to birds, raccoons, squirrels, and feral hogs. We saw deer on the cameras, but never in person. Last year he finally got a couple for the freezer, but he had to leave the camp to do it.

We used the last of it a couple days ago. Time for him to go get more!

You think she hauled it out? Methinks our dear roo is a bit of a pushover.

LOL we are allowed to drive into most area's to "load" the carcass I do the gutting and the rest gets done when we get home. BUT having an extra pair of hands make gutting and loading a breeze, and the extra eye's while hunting make all the difference.

depends with more and more land being posted even "normal hunting" is becoming a chore/not so fun.

They (gov) need to put a warning label on "fresh air" something like warning fresh air can cause extreme fatigue/drowseyness ect...

If I hunted deer it wouldnt be for sport but food so ya, I would bait them.
All my chores got done and hair cut for Tom and CB. Friend came over and did it. Not much day left but its mine.
