Granny's gone and done it again

WP, that is why I avoid going to the doctor.  The stress of it can make you sick!!  :/    I will say, that once they find a potential problem, you will have more tests than you can imagine.

Actually, other than this and the neurologist I was seeing, I've been really happy with my doctors. I have a primary (nurse practitioner), an eye doctor, and an endochrinologist, in addition to an ob.

Danna, sorry you have to wait so long to get hubs into the surgeon.

Jane, terrible about all your hard work going to feed the critters. Is it deer season where you are. Maybe you could get a little of it back!

Granny, how is your back today?

Just found out there will be two extra people to dinner at mil's tomorrow. One of them is a hulking teenager. I should have got a bigger turkey!

We've only got 30 coming to Thanksgiving (or so), but as always, most are kids.

Live in MS so not that close :lol sadly we have no close family on this side of the country and all our friends have family they eat with. So our dinner will be of three members unless you include the dogs which then it goes up to 9

NP's and midwives are the best, in my limited experience.

30 for one meal? :th I came from a very small family with hermit inclinations, so anything more than 10 would be overwhelming for me.

There are pretty strict rules on midwives here and most aren't covered by my insurance. If I can find a mixed office (ob and midwives), I would love to use them.

I came from a pretty small family, too. Only 5 in my immediate and we only ate with my mom's parents. My husband, though, is 1 of 7 and the youngest, so we have the other 6 kids and their families, plus their kids (several of them) have had kids, so the family has sort of exploded lol

That does suck, but I've been there. It's been just my husband and I more than once for Christmas. Now, it doesn't bother me nearly as much, getting to spend all day with my husband and relaxing.

I used to be spoiled in VA and OR with us having close family/friends. MS been rough on that behalf :/ but at least this year for the first time in a long time (unless work suddenly changes) my dad is off for thankgiving, christmas eve and day.

Hahaha! WP, enjoy that alone time while you can. In 6 months or so, your life will be very different and you won't ever be alone again!

Especially when trying to use the bathroom.
