Im back home. Went to hospital to see my 1st great grand baby born today. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz. could hardly walk but made it there to see him. I dont know why my knee swells so bad. Arthritis

Yesterday mollie said she had gotten 15 hona eggs since we left. I must have three laying now? And she said I got three green eggs yesterday, but I only have two hens that lay green. So a new layer in the camp coop also? So bizarre. I've NEVER had wintertime eggs.

If, my pullets were born early enough in the spring, and start laying in the fall, I almost always have them lay straight through the winter. Mostly hatchery birds, though.

It must feel good to be home!!
