Morning y'all. Cold in the house and cozy under the covers. Having a real hard time getting up and at 'em this morning.

I hear that. I was up to release the kluckens/let the mutt out for her pee/pack the hubs' lunch but now I'm back under covers.

Got so much to do today too...sigh. Day off is not much of a day...off.

Hate that.

Oh! I saw more of the neighbor's ducks today.

I don't see any chocolates or pastel colors, so maybe those are hidden genes?

Caught two pullets in the nest box today:

Mavis (hona/cochin) no egg yet. Should be cream colored.

No name (EE/EE) not sure if she had laid or was going to. Three eggs in that nest, she jumped in after I grabbed them.

Eggs. Cream eggs (honas) and top two on right and left are today.

I hear ya - it got COLD here all the sudden this week, even talking possible snow (won't stick, but will fall) way down here in the valleys. Makes it a bit hard to get motivated and get going.

will I am back 25 dozen molasses cookies done. Kitchen cleaned up and everything washed and put into warm oven to get that hidden moisture. Waiting for the other 13 dozen to cool.

The cold sure does suck the motivation right out of a person.......so does thinking of all the things on the to-do list , lol.

I wanted nothing more than to crawl back into bed after I got DH off to work and DS off to school - alas, today I have a date with MIL so there was no choice but to get dressed and ready for the day. Also wanted to snag a couple of things on the "$5 Friday" sale at Safeway so had to make a quick trip to the grocery store before MIL comes to pick me up.

So I was talking to the banker lady every time a "hard pull/credit check" is done it drops your credit score about 10 points.

So in her words "NEVER go cars shopping and then when it comes to financing let the car place -shop around- for a loan for you- pick a bank and take it." Some car places with shop up to 5 banks BOOM 50 points off your credits score.

you all know it's really hard to get into trouble / carry on a conversation by yourself. AND THEN when someone else shows up your like impersonating a dog that's been home alone for 8 hours. Lots of barks/whining/squeaking/ kisses, nose in crotch, trying to get into your lap. AND as a 53 year old man

that is just pathetic and cruel to see or put me through. You know a person could break a hip
