Granny's gone and done it again

I should run to Walmart maybe there won't be many people there and I can avoid "cart rage"

good evening all

mixed up the cookies attempt 2 and still not right THEN I realized it is NOT the right recipe (close) and that one is missing as well. Did a little tanking with brother. Then said to heck with everything and watched the Walton Christmas. That helped some.

did you bake them or toss ? Thats a lot of work.

Quote: Lots of room for error when making a thermometer and hard to control it all. The diameter of the inside of the glass tube can vary, as can the exact placement of the card with the degree markings on it, also the precise volume of red fluid placed inside will make a difference. the old mercury thermometers are much more accurate because the mercury would not be affected by pressure as much as other fluids. They can put the units in tenths, but that doesn't mean the thermometer is accurate to a tenth of a degree.

Short story, very precise thermometers are expensive.
