Im gonna only get new chickens from hatching eggs. This cuts down on possibly introducing disease into my flock. Gonna contact breeder that i got BO chicks from 4 yrs ago. See if he will sell BO & BR eggs in April. He is where i got my 1st EE hen.

my porch and ramp is a solid sheet of ice this am after all that rain yesterday. LOL I cant get out to check on my new chicks and its killing me. They were scared yesterday and I am thinking the worse. Like they are all huddled up in the corner as far away from the heat as they can get... I havent started the bator yet either.

39yrs ! OMG Thats just too long to be with any one man.

We re having Christmas on Christmas day at youngest dd. Yeah i dont have to clean up afterwards or before.

CB is mad because he hasnt seen the chicks and I wont let him go outside in shorts, slip on shoes. . LOL

Shaw family Christmas is whatever, whenever. One year it was Nov. 27th. Whenever we get the presents wrapped and under the tree. we're always at a grandmas house for Xmas day. I was thinking waffles tonight, but DH said we're doing it after Xmas. I'm more disappointed than the kids are.
