Just pulled some more of your lemon raspberry sugar cookies from the freezer and letting them thaw on my lap. Robert Really likes them too. I have never been able to get him to taste any other kind of jelly .

Mom stated bay is for flavoring. Technically you can just remove the bay leaves and do the rest.

THANK YOU I am sort of excited to try this we usually put the hock and the "bone meat" into a crock and pickle like you would corned beef. But I still have some from last year vacuum packed in the freezer so do not and to be honest didn't want to mess with that this year.

OH I KNEW that part I use them for gravies and in roasts just and in the pickling spice mix JUST never thought of them being in ham hocks
