We moved the duck house over to the pond before it's too heavy. So exciting! The weekend is supposed to be cold and raining, so I'll move them Monday I think.

camping's carrot reminds me of mandrake roots, which are eerily shaped, even when not in a Harry Potter movie.

Yes, so much food is wasted.

That's what gets me about it all --- it's just such a waste. My sister's ex-husband was one of those that wouldn't eat/drink anything a moment past the "magic date" stamped on it -- he was fixing to pour out nearly an entire gallon of milk one day because it had the day before's date on it, snatched it out of his hand, sniffed it and it was FINE.... I am a firm believer in the sniff/look/taste test when it comes to things like that. I grew up in a "trim the bad spots off the cheese sort of house, lol.
"imperfect produce" is another one that gets me -- the slightest blemish and some folks won't even consider eating it.....because letting the whole thing go to waste vs. trimming off the bad spot is SOOOO much better.

omgosh yes, He got in trouble with every one of his teachers and the principal. smart talking the teachers and cheating. He said Im not cheating , I gave him the answers, he is cheating.

Sounds like me the last few days -- I will be absolutely freezing - turn up the heat, get a blanket, etc -- heck the other night I went and ran a steaming hot bath and put the space heater in the bathroom for good measure.......got nice and toasty! Not three hours after that DH found me in the bedroom in my lightest nighty with the window open complaining it was too hot

another half hr. will be day 17 on my eggs according to CB. I am getting excited but it dont seem like it should be day 17 yet. Been thinking about putting them in my room for a few days til they are eating and drinking good anyway. If I get any.

I think it would have been fun to live in the 20's... except the 30's came after.




They didn't have names for those earlier generations until after the boomers came along.
