I was more focused because I didnt have a turner and I  honestly dont think my turners do the job.  It kept spiking heat after 2 weeks so it didnt last long.

Hi Hun, sorry about the chicks that didn't make it. Looks like chick #1 of the BLRW is going to be splash & #2 the blue & Red coloring. Very cute little buggers

How are you feeling ? Still sore from your falls ?

The rash came on after fever so will know more after his apt. tomorrow. He does have escema (sp) and illnesses can make that flair. There are a couple illnesses that have the rash. Had dd check for peeling on feet & hands, none so far. Had her check his tongue for white junk, but she didn't see any. Let's hope he doesn't have the strep virus/scarlet fever stuff going on. I'm still sore, but then I'm sore everyday to begin with lol.

Have you ever seen such a large chick ? Its head was soo big ! It had no room to hatch at all. So I have 4 blrw and one ee/polish aka dr. seuss

Yes I have, have hatch Biefelder eggs for the first time this past spring. Lost 4 chicks 3/4 of the way zipped before I realized they weren't positioned correctly because of their size. Not enough weight loss during incubation. Those are the ones I was telling you about that if I try to hatch them myself ever again that I'm going to lightly sand the upper area of the egg. Mature eggs are jumbo + & the coating has a sheen like the ISA eggs do.
