Granny's gone and done it again

Here's what we had growing up, Rhodesian Ridgebacks and crosses of them. No undercoat, so they don't like the cold, but very cool dogs. wicked smart.

I did look at the black ones. Face didn't look right in the pic you had (looks too sweet), but it had retriever in it for sure. Chesapeakes are not laid back like the labs.

Not sure why you have to keep logging in. Maybe they put on a time out feature. I'm notorious for not signing out, so will pay attention and see if it kicks me off.
Guess you are going to have to remember your password now!

someone here is selling mixed pups of this breed. I dont remember what they were mixed with .

I know. Sally's not the picture of health herself, which only compounds the problem. Gotta hand it to her, though; she's a real trooper.

no and she dont want to talk about it either. Do you know what kind of sick ?
(For harmony)

For heavens sake, do not get one! (but if i was there, I sure would go look!) We had one that was half bull mastiff. Rocky was 125 lbs of luv! They require a huge amount of exercise and are very strong and very head strong. I just think they are beautiful... epitome of a dog to me. good hunters too, but they kill what they want and eat it!

Oh no. Poor Sally. Harmony Ann is so cute. Not knowing makes it worse.

Yeah. Good thing is the extra strength you get when you kick into Mama Bear mode. grrrrr Worry isn't going to help Sally's health, though.

I cant get the pup off my lap and he dont listen. He is literally eating the house. Barks all day howls like a wolf and acts like one too. Would not surprise me. Someone was selling wolf hybreeds the other day. I cant handle another pet.
I guess I will go fry them burgers. Or try. Lots of pain today. BBS ..

Pain probably isn't helped with that dang dog sitting in your lap!

Burgers sound good. We're having breakfast for dinner. CB home today?

Something in the gut, near as I can tell. They just keep on running tests.
Terrible for anyone, but even more so for a kid.

Guess I'm going to get my rear outside and rake rocks so my seeds can reach the dirt. Rain's coming soon, getting darker out there.

See you guys later!

Gee, that sounds like so much fun
I have a gas-powered auger; still won't cut it all the time. Other times, it's great.

Whites!!!! Hadn't seen you around lately - glad to see you back!!

Morning from crazy CA! #2 had late late start today, 10:10! He loves his sleep in mornings. I forgot to tell him about protests on the school campus today... student protesting tuition hikes. Hope they keep clear of the high school kids. I got both coops cleaned out already this morning and am hoping to get the energy to head back out and clear a patch of ground to plant some winter rye grass which will help choke out some of the weeds. So much excitement, I can hardly stand it!

So hate to break into the flow of the ... conversation...

y'all just continue on...

Ah, protestors, lovely protestors........
Sounds like you had an accomplished day. Your kids are getting late starts, our kids are getting extended days -- to make up for the snow days they've had they're extending the school days by 15 minutes and converting 4 Wednesdays to full days, they are usually early release days. Of course with this "big scary storm" coming in tonight/tomorrow they'll probably miss more school.....

Get some individual frozen dinners for them and cook fresh for yourself.

Sounds like a plan!

I don't see the point of going to the dr. They can't do anything for me at this point. This is some bad flu. I laid in bed all day now my back hurts. Took my husband three days to feel better. I am on day two.i can eat and drink so that's good.
You sound like me - no point in going to the dr, so might as well stay home and do what they're going to tell you to do which is rest and hydrate and wait for it to pass......hopefully tomorrow sees you starting to be on the upswing of this.
