Oh, Granny, what a frustrating day! What town/shop did you go to? If you're ever headed to Clarksville or Louisville I can suggest a couple of REALLY good shops for fish and supplies. Also, there is a FB group for Louisville Fish Keepers where you can post an "in search of" post for things you're looking for and get some really awesome deals. Oh, and the fish store you were at is full of crap because live plants are sold at a lot of really nice shops in Indiana - so another reason NOT to go back to them.


Mare, sigh... I am home from wal marts where I have overflowed my tank with plastic plants and colorful little fish. I have learned today there is more to this world then just chicken math. It seems to extend to fish as well. The town/pet store was in Lauranceburg. only pet store I could find.

Wishing, yes, I have a crock pot. Its a piece of crap but it works . Bought things for beef stew today. I want a steak so bad . They are $10.00 a pc. No way for 4 people. Will be eating fish all month.
