Mine have a fascination with boxes... They jump in them and the box vanishes with them along for the ride. Dreadful shame, eh?

Wouldn't you be? Other eggs in there getting ready to hatch, or any that have hatched but not dry yet? Trying to figure a way to keep it protected 'til it absorbs the rest of the yolk & gains more strength. Might also wanna check out Sally's site & get a suggestion or 6.Morning Whites, 3rd baby hatched and the bator looks like there was a blood bath in there. Still has its yolk. Gross. I put some antibiotic on a damp sponge in a coffee cup and stuck it in there. It is pizzed and wants out.
Top row: my legbar (paired with EE)
Middle row: isabels and one legbar/isabel (paired with???)
Bottom row: cochin OE (paired with marans OE) and a Mae West (cochin) egg.
Think I'm going to set these, in addition to the other dozen from Texas.
Danna, if you like that blue better then I'll save you some (if she lays again). It's prettier than what I've got.![]()
