Twist ~ Keep forgetting to tell you. From my observations & current SFH birds. They would not be a great forever breed as you desire. They are pretty to look at, but my 2 year olds lay a just barely large egg & my year olds are still laying a pullet size egg. And their numbers are up & down on how many they lay in a week. Let's just say, they are not egg machines if that is what you are looking for in a bird.
