Granny's gone and done it again

I adore sweet and sour cabbage. bacon grease, vinegar, sugar, steam fried. It makes me happy my family dont like it . I can take any veggie thats good for you and turn it bad. LOL

Jane, thank you for the thought. I wont lie though . If I got the chance, I would take it. Gladly .
Have you ever seen the movie , Next of kin. ? I guess its just how we was brought up.

Where is everyone hiding for 2 hours? Napping before lunch?

She's on one tiny brown egg. :lau I didn't take it soon enough, looks to be about a week? Guess I'll stick it in the bator when I get her fresh clutch. Don't think I could bring myself to kill it. :hide

She looks like my broody hen & her sister, comb & all. One lays a green egg & the other a small pointy brown egg.

I cleaned coops 2 weeks ago before the stormy weather. Need to shovel out litter again after all the rain. I have one pen that never gets wet &2 that stay wet.

Have to say, while compliments help, they do not do enough to make up for the time in the torture chamber. Not when I could have just made sandwiches!

Quote: I did the veggie thing for several years... saved a lot of money and kept my weight down that way. I just decided to do it to see what it was like, and I liked it. Neighbor pulled me back into the carnivore lifestyle with some still wriggling salmon he caught up in Klamath. I didn't have any bad reaction at all, but don't think anything has ever tasted as good as that first piece of fish.

And because I abhor waste, I made sure to consume ALL of the fish he gave me! (which was a lot

Quote: Just regular Paas dye tablets. We used vinegar in the water to help it penetrate the shells and soak them really good. The original color of the shells made for some beautiful results.
