how do you know when its well done ?

Tomorrow is candle on the eggs. I am so nervous. I hope I dont drop any.  Or keep the lid open too long . Its a full bator.     I havent added any water. Its showing 29% and 99.6-100 D.
Don't worry too much about it Pam. Broody momma's are known to stay off her eggs up to a half an hour at this time of setting. I usually grab about 14-16 eggs at one time, put them in egg cartons. Move the remaining eggs to the other side of the incubator. That way when you candle the others & return them to the incubator they end up in a different location in the turner. Then remove the remaining & candle them. This cuts down on the amount of time the incubator is open if your worried about that. Also looked into your tick problem. Some say that 7 dust does not work well for that & not to put on your dogs. If you treat their lawn area they need to stay out of the area for 24 hrs. The key to anything working well is to keep your glass clipped short. Tall grass is ticks favorite hiding place. Ortho makes a product that goes into a sprayer that attaches to your hose. It must contain Permethrin because that is the product recommended to kill the ticks. It was also recommended that you put a flea & tick collar on all your pets. Hope this info helps, I've gotta run out & feed the birds. Will get back on later. Love you, BIG :hugs

that is because you are in the wrong in mho I have slept in the car because I could not find motels that would accept dogs

in feb. with an old lady and man ? Are you allowed to turn therapy dogs away ? Because Roberts cat was declared by his Dr. to be medically necessary part of him to never be separated. To leave it in the car would have been leaving Robert there. 3 motels refused. I dont think that is legal. The cats slept in their crate in the room. Robert took his out for a min. and it freaked being in a strange place so we caught it and put it back. I say I did the right thing.

It does thank you. I knew about the grass and I asked Robert yet again and he said no. Good tip on the eggs and You found my bifocals so all I need now is a steady hand.
