Granny's gone and done it again

Pam, put the eggs that the air cells are small over by the turner motor. That will help then lose a little faster. The egg marked BEL is the Bielefelder & they are notoriously terrible about losing the desired weight they need to. On day 14 I lightly sanded the top part of the egg with very fine sandpaper. They still struggled with hatching. Least I knew to assist this last time. It was so sad losing so many as I did my first hatch. They would start zipping then die before they finished.

It was the egg that was layed behinD the nest box. You struggled to reach it. I think it was cracked by the box. I never noticed the crack. It was very obvious when I candled it.



I thought we tossed that one.  Is it fertile. You can tell by day 3 on most of those. 
Nope that one was too cracked, didnt want to chance hatching it. The other 2, one is fertile & the other looks clear
