Thank you for your timeley response, I think its pretty bad, the tip is a definite 90° downward and then a slight curvature inward. But thank you, it has consoled me to know that at least they won't chop off his beak
best vet can do is trim it . you can probably do it yourself and save some money. Let vet do it first then watch what he does. They have blood vein in them like a dogs toenail.
