I'm a little concerned that it might be a neighbor that is trying to put us out of business. He came about a month ago to tell hubby that he was putting a big veggie stand in at the intersection of our road, but that he wasn't trying to compete with us lol right. That he would be willing to even sell our product. Ok, to me that says, since our Township cracked down on the farmers advertising their veggie stands and we can no longer have a sign at the end of the road guiding people to our stand. That he his willing to buy our product (I'm sure cheaply) or I'm just going to plain put you out of business because who is going to come down to our unadvertised veggie stand when they can stop up at the top of the hill. Frustrating as h3ll.

I wasnt judging them on their heritage but their pay scale and the act they were out there. Spare change and a "found" chicken isnt as bad a crime as say, stealing from your stand.

No I knew you weren't hun, just didn't want Kiki to think I have difficulty with Hispanic people is all.

Ya it's been a lovely year for both my job & hubs. But I've gotta run out on you Hun. I need to get fencing installed around the cabbage before there isn't any left. They've gotten 5 plants already. Only 3 when hubs got the one bunny last night, so more are out there. Hope to chat later. Love & miss you

Yes I did, probably from the neighbors if you think your one male is the daddy. Sure hope you can find homes for them. This dumping of animals needs to stop. It is horrible to have to cull unwanted or sickly animals, but the people that are responsible for them need to do it or find homes. I can personally say I HATE TO CULL sickly birds or unwanted roosters, but I take my responsibility in it if I can't heal or find homes for them

Im sorry to hear that Red, I hate theft as well. If someone would come to the door & explain that they need the food I would just give it to them. We do have a few customers that leave us a note that they are short or just don't have the funds that week, but they will pay us when they do & they always have.

I know what you mean. Would give food away to if we have it to give. But don't steal it from us.

honestly I don't know. it was broken into a few years ago and they did steal expensive tools. I think that I had most of the valuable stuff out though.

it does sound like he's trying to shut y'all down. But I'm sure that your regular customers will still buy from y'all. I hope that he sits up there and watches everyone pass his stand up to get to yalls.
