Granny's gone and done it again

Good morning from the other side of the world! :hugs
Buongiorno, Benny!

I sent my husband to church's chicken. I wanted their chicken strips. They claimed they were out. What?!?! That is all I was craving. Then they said they just got some but they were too frozen to fry. What?!?! Did I want something else? No that is all I like there. Chicken strips. Then they said if he wanted to wait they would try to cook some. Very strange, but I finally got my chickens strips.
:lau :yuckyuck

Indeed, The meat have a very distinct flavor that not all people like,
I use to buy a lamb that is an hybrid between 2 breeds ( the local one the Awassi and an Australian breed called Marino) that the taste is very mild in it.

Granny, my grass has to be cut every 7 days because of too much rain. Dh cut it all Monday. He was happy he got to cut it. Said I'd been doing a good job with it.

it is ALWAYs NICE to receive acknowledgement for jobs and even better when its a compliment

This was already seasoned so I seared it in the cast iron skillet and baked it for about 30 min. . It is med. rare and bursting with flavor. A little tough but not bad.

He's dealing with the heat too. Maybe he will come on later.

Mmmm.... smoked turkey... :drool I bet the lamb is good too. I've never heard of smoked lamb. It is not as popular here as as other meats.
